Wintersun is proud to announce that the Elvis Tribute Contest will be held again this year. If you are an Elvis tribute and wish to be apart of the Elvis Presley Enterprises search for the ultimate Elvis tribute artist email us at info@wintersun.org.au for an entry form. As the event is an integral part of the Wintersun heats will be held on Wednesday 9th of June, Thursday 10th of June and Friday the 11th of June. The finals will be held on Saturday evening the 12th of June. The winner of the Wintersun contest will win a trip to the United States and memphis, representing Australia in the ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest during Elvis Week 2010. This is your ooportunity to reach the Memphis qualifying round.

2008 COMPETITION INFORMATION
Wintersun signed up to host a leg of The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Contest in 2008. The competition has continued to stem interest from all around Australia fueling further competitive success. Reining 2007 Elvis tribute, Mark Anthony stole the crown again this year to win back to back Elvis Tribute winner.

Wintersun is proud to be part of the global Elvis Presley Enterprises search for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist.
During 2007, for the first time ever, Elvis Presley Enterprises held the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. The contest is a search for the Elvis Tribute Artist that is the "best representation of the legacy of Elvis Presley."
The winner of the contest will receive the title of "The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist," along with official recognition by Elvis Presley Enterprises, a cash prize and more.
Wintersun will host a preliminary round for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest during the Wintersun Festival.
The winner of the Wintersun preliminary round will win a return airfare to Memphis USA, one weeks accommodation and entry to compete in the qualifying rounds that will take place during Elvis Week 2007. The top winners in each of the qualifying rounds will go on to compete in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Finals on August 17 at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Memphis, where the "Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist" will be selected.
